Lauren Reeves is a comedy writer, world traveler, and true crime lesbian icon.

Lauren's origin story begins gold mine in Fairbanks, Alaska. She spent her childhood finding gold, digging up woolly mammoth tusks, and befriending the local wildlife. She was hired at age 18 to be a teenage news reporter, covering crimes committed by people with names like “Papa Pilgrim.”

At twenty, she swapped cold cases for cocktails and moved to New York to pursue her dreams in comedy.

Her writing has appeared on Comedy Central’s @Midnight, MTV’s Ex On The Beach, The Village Voice Pride Awards, and The Clio Awards, where she has written for Amy Sedaris, Cecily Strong, and Alan Cumming, to name-drop a few.
